NIGCOMSAT-1R

Nigcomsat-1R is a direct replacement for Nigcomsat-1 (launched 13, May 2007), which failed on November 11, 2008 in orbit after running out of power due to an anomaly in its solar array.
Nigcomsat-1R came at no cost to the Nigerian Government as a result.
