NASRDA, DSA CONSOLIDATE ON EXISTING RELATIONSHIP

The Director General, National Space Research and Development Agency NASRDA, Dr. Halilu Ahmad Shaba, has restated the need for strategic stakeholders in the space industry to maintain a united front in order to produce adaptable solutions that are advantageous to Nigerians.
He made the  statement while receiving a delegation from the Defence Space Administration DSA during a courtesy visit at the NASRDA Headquarters in Abuja.
Dr. Shaba while thanking the team for coming, stressed the value of collaboration between both parties, particularly in the area of security, saying that the Space sector is evolving rapidly, therefore the parties should form a formidable partnership to address the enemies of the country.
The Director General who affirmed that both parties are patners in progress pledged the Agency’s commitment towards sustaining the existing relationship, adding that he will continue to provide support when necessary for the actualization of their mandate.
In his remarks, the Chief Of Defence Space Administration, Air Vice Marshal Ayo Jolasinmi, appreciated the Space Agency for the cooperation and hospitality enjoyed in the seven years of their existence, saying by the effort of the Agency, Defence Space Administration has been able to achieve enormous success.
He noted that the decision to rely on NASRDA for support and guidance has greatly contributed to their productivity in space exploration.
AVM Jolasinmi while assuring the sustainability of the existing collaboration for the overall benefit of the nation, further commended  the Space Agency for their enormous contributions especially in the training of DSA staff.
